My Inspiration
I have moved my gallery. Please reload http://missygainer.com to see my new and updated gallery. Don't forget to bookmark missygainer.com as this site will be closed by the end of September.
My inspiration comes from the good Lord above. I look at my artwork as a partnership between me and God. I pray before I create an image and ask God's inspiration to find a scripure which will go well with the image. My purpose is to spread God's word in an artistic way. After I have created something, I give it back to God and ask Him to send it where He will for His Glory. So far, it has been a great endeavor. I am also inspired by other artists, and I spend time almost daily looking at other galleries and collecting ideas and inspiration. I create 3D art as well, but Fractal art is my current and enduring passion. I create all of my latest images at a very high resolution and size so that the print company (Red Bubble) will have the best images to print from. It really makes a difference in larger images. I also gain inspiration from the great artists of old including Michelangelo, van Gogh, Monet, and too many more to mention. Love to all the artists out there!
Personal Info
I'm married to my high school sweetheart whom I still love with all my heart. We've been married 30 years. I have three children, Molly age 23, Mikaila age 17, and Mitchell age 15. I love my family. I go to a wonderful Foursquare church near where I live and have made many wonderful friends. Most of my extended family lives nearby so family is very much a part of my life. I used to own a Medical Transcription business that was very succesful. I ended that enterprise when I had 3 young children to care for. My husband is an attorney and is completely opposite of the stereotypical lawyer. He is giving and kind and compassionate. My time is now spent taking care of my family, taking art classes and creating art. Thank you for taking an interest in me.
P.S. We have a guinea pig named Cornelius. :-)
